making it personal

there is only one good place for politics, and that's in the government. anywhere else, politics is just obnoxious and take wasting. bureacracy is everywhere now - it's in schools now, it's in nearly every establishment there is. its crazy.
people take things too personally. i'm guilty of the same thing. the kanye west thing - i took that personally, because he had no call to say what he did. the only thing he did when he said what he said was to stir up more trouble. he didnt solve a thing. people were still sittin on tops of houses, and what was mr kanye west doing about it? going on national tv and calling people racist.
there was a rift between what shouldve happened with katrina and what did happen. a large rift. but there was no reason to call anyone racist. there was no reason to say that bush doesnt care about poverty. here's why - bush has had record spending on poverty in america. no child left behind was designed to help poor inner-city folks learn what they were supposed to before they go on to the next grade. it was also designed to annoy the rest of us, but that's beside the point. you can research it and i dont remember the exact numbers, but i do know that bush has had record spending on poverty. nobody else had spent as much as bush has on poverty. most democrats dont say that bush doesnt care about poverty because they know better - they wait for people like kanye west to stick their noses into it and point fingers, then they run with it. republicans do the same thing, but this republican still doesnt agree with it.
